Burn Survivors Association - UK

The Burn Survivors Association (Registered Charity Number:1089765) founded by Terry Everitt in February 2001 is an independent association for burns survivors, their families and friends. It aims to form a community of burn survivors in the UK, and link to the United States and other international burn survivors associations. For burn survivors it provides a central point, a gateway to existing sites of information, a link to existing local support groups, a forum where burn survivors can express themselves. The association will offer personal support (non professional), survivors to survivors together with contact points for professional counselling, rehabilitation care both National and Local. The association hopes to share information about new treatments and improved treatments throughout the UK burn centres.
